Online Kidney Classroom

To promote the renal education to the public, Dr Ho Chung Ping created a website called ‘Kidney Classroom – (link:  www.kidney-classroom.com).    There were over 100 video on kidney diseases and treatment.  Most of them were in Cantonese and aimed at the public or medical personnel.  Some were records of Continuing Medical Education lectures and they were for doctors and nurses.

The kidney-classroom was very successful. The videos were practical and some nursing courses used them as an aid in the teaching.

Renal Education to the public in Radio HK

The ‘Hong Kong Medical Association Consultation’ 醫學會會診is a highly popular program in Radio HK 1精靈一點  .

As part of the renal education to the public, Dr HO Chung Ping took part in the program  about once in two months.  He talked on renal diseases and answer questions from the public.  The recent topics covered included Glomerulonephritis, polycystic kidneys disease, organ donation, kidney cysts, diabetic nephropathy etc.
